Southern Miss Remembers Professor Emeritus Dr. Jerry Waltman

Dr. Jerold 鈥淛erry鈥� Lloyd Waltman, professor emeritus of political science at The University of 麻豆传媒色情片 from 1978-2003, passed away in Hattiesburg on January 23, at the age of 79. Waltman was known as a great teacher and mentor with a love for learning, who encouraged and guided many undergraduate and graduate students along the way. He authored nine books, a textbook, numerous edited works and academic articles. In addition, he was a guest lecturer at James Madison University and Colgate University, participated in a National Endowment seminar at Notre Dame University and served as an editorial board member for the Politics and Religion journal.
