Welcome to the summer 2025 move-in page! Please continue reading this page for important move-in processes for summer 2025.
Early Arrivals
Students will be assigned a summer assignment by our assignment team and they will receive a confirmation email when placed. In that email, students will have the opportunity to complete an early arrival form if they need to move into their room before summer classes begin. Once the early arrival form has been submitted, it will need to be approved by housing before students can move in to their summer housing assignment. The early arrival form opens May 1st 鈥� May 9th at 5:00 p.m.
Early summer housing move-in will be from Monday, May 12 to Thursday, May 22.
Students will need to check in at McCarty Hall. They will scan the check in QR code at the front desk and when completed, will be able to go to their room to move in.
Residence Hall
All Southern Miss summer residents will reside in McCarty Hall. To find out more about this residence hall, click here.
Summer Sessions
Full Summer: May 23, 2025 - August 2, 2025 - check-in is from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Summer I: May 23, 2025 - June 26, 2025 - check-in is from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Summer II: June 25, 2025 - August 2, 2025 - check-in is from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
